It is raised, so you feel the design which is cool. Shipment was fast and quality was great.
I do have to say that it's hard to figure out how much you need, which one roll for us only covered half the wall, and we have a pretty standard bedroom. So we did end up ordering two, which i didn't anticipate, but other than that, great product. And it is definitely silver and not beige as we had read in another review....
