This is the perfect way to decorate his room without committing to it forever or having to hire someone to put in a border (because I can never hang them straight). Even though our walls are not smooth (small amount of texture) in this home I had no problem applying them and having them stay put. We found that 2 packages is necessary to really make the room pop although it wasn't bad with only the one package. I think any parent looking for a reasonably priced way to decorate their child's room in their favorite character without committing to something expensive or long term should absolutely try this product. We are incredibly satisfied!
