(More customer reviews)The unit barely produces enough steam to get wallpaper stripped, so you
can never remove the steam plate from the surface or you'll have to wait
a while for steam to build up. You definitely don't want to try this unit
on a latex wallpaper outer surface. Even with scoring, you'll be there
all day. Peel/scrape off anything you can first.
The hose, while long, allows water to condense and cool, which eventually
blocks the steam from escaping the unit, so you've got to kind of raise
the hose slowly from the base unit all the way to the plate and let the
water drain out to restart the steam. I found myself doing that every 5
minutes or so.
